The book "Pregnancy and Childbirth Preparation" is one of the author's works compiled based on the understanding that an important foundation in producing a superior generation is closely related to a healthy pregnancy. To achieve a healthy pregnancy process, prospective parents should start preparing thoroughly and well in advance. Not only prospective mothers, prospective fathers must also maintain and improve their health. The process of pregnancy and childbirth are two very valuable moments for a woman. Therefore, a woman needs to find solutions to the various conditions they experience during pregnancy so that they can feel safe and comfortable. When approaching childbirth, the husband or family must play an active role in helping pregnant women to prepare physically and mentally. People around them can be a good source of support and information for pregnant women. In terms of emotion, a pregnant woman will certainly be helped by the presence and support of those around her. Therefore, the presence of a husband and family is very important in every pregnancy process and afterward. However, the support given to pregnant women up to preparation for childbirth cannot be arbitrary. In this case, the author is a midwife and also a lecturer who is aware of her obligation to improve professionalism and share knowledge as a true literacy activist, so the author fulfills one of her duties and functions as a midwife and lecturer by compiling this book, entitled "Pregnancy and Childbirth Preparation" as a medium for writing knowledge.
